WAEC NEC TO RELEASE 2017 WITHELD RESULT IN FEW WEEK

The West African Examination Council [WAEC] on November 7th, 2017 held the 64th Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) Meeting. The Updates are being discussed below:
During the meeting the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) confirmed that the examination malpractice cases are being considered and candidates who were not involved will have their results released within few weeks.

6,464 Collusion cases were recorded during the WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2016 examination.
2,415 Impersonation cases were recorded during the WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2016 examinations.
3,969 candidates were caught with mobile phones during the WASSCE for Private Candidates,2016 examinations.
1,672 candidates brought foreign materials into the examination hall during the WASSCE for Private Candidates 2016 examination.
According to the NEC all these cases are being looked into and those involved will be prosecuted and candidates involved dealt with.
